Shipping and Estimated Delivery Time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days and include FREE shipping via FedEx Ground, UPS Ground or USPS, with delivery typically taking 7-10 business days. Custom and gift message label orders that require proofing are processed upon receipt of label approval. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you when your order is shipped. Delivery is not available to APO/FPO addresses at this time. Orders outside of the continental U.S. are not accepted at this time.

1. Are there any animal products or by-products at all in any of the Ope’s Cookies?
   NO! Ope’s Cookies are 100% vegan. We do not use any eggs or dairy in any of our flavors. The chocolate we use does not contain milk or any milk derivative.  Good for the animals, good for the world, good for you. ☺
2. What is the shelf life of Ope’s Cookies?
   Our delicious applesauce based cookies do not contain any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives, and therefore have a shelf life of 1 year frozen or 10 days thawed, with the exception of the Banana Nut, Coconut Pineapple, Ginger, Peanut Butter Banana, and Pumpkin Spice which have a shelf life of 5 days thawed.
3. Can I freeze the Cookies once I get them?
   Yes! They can be frozen immediately when they arrive and have a shelf life of a year once frozen. It only takes about an hour to thaw them out before they are ready to eat (or some people like to eat them frozen!).
4. Are they okay to eat for breakfast?
   Yes! The main ingredients in Ope’s Cookies are applesauce and oatmeal, which are excellent breakfast foods by themselves. Each cookie contains less than 200 calories which makes them a low-calorie, delicious, healthy breakfast treat. They also go GREAT with coffee!
5. Can I order other flavors than what is listed on the website?
   YES! We have other kinds of cookies that are “seasonal” but we can make them any time during the year. Just email us what kinds you are looking for, and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes!  And if you have any special requests for flavors, send us an email describing the flavor and we will let you know if it is something we can create. ☺

7. Does Ope’s offer wheat-free Cookies?
   YES!  ALL of our Cookies can be made with 100% organic spelt flour or any other requested flour to meet the needs of anyone with allergies or food sensitivities. Please email us for details!
8. Is it possible to order larger quantities and also get price discounts with larger quantities?
   Yes! If you are interested in ordering more cookies please email us for our bulk order discounts.
9. Can Ope’s Cookies be found in stores?
   OpesCookies.com is based in Kalamazoo, Michigan and the Cookies can be found throughout stores in southern Michigan. They are not available yet in stores outside of Michigan, but if you have a suggestion for a retail outlet that you would like to see Ope’s Cookies in, please let us know!
10. What is the difference between refined and complex carbohydrates?
    Ope’s Cookies do not contain any refined carbohydrates. Complex carbs are the building blocks of our bodies; we have to have complex carbs in order for our organs to have energy to function.  Refined carbs are the “bad” carbs usually associated with white sugar or starch, and cause fat cell development.  Ope’s does not use any refined sugars, flours, or ingredients in any of our Cookies.
